WEEKLY TIMETABLE
Analog method:
When I have to develop a new timetable for the school term, I put up pictures of the activities on a wall to get the students involved. The pictures (photos, pictograms and illustrations) can be moved around.
Everybody can have a say and decisions are being made together to make the process as fair as possible for everyone.
Everybody can have a say and decisions are being made together to make the process as fair as possible for everyone.
The result gets typed up and illustrated with photos or pictograms from the internet, printed out, laminated and send home with each student.
Digital method:
Weekly Overview:
The user can drag and drop activities from the categories into the personal timetable. The admin can arrange the pictograms to promote the individual goals of the user. Restrictions due to time schedule, resources etc. can be set up by the admin.
Daily Overview:
By clicking on a day the user gets to the screen of the daily schedule and routine. Specific activities and the tasks attached to it can be opened with the next screen.
Task List:
The task screen can be a reminder what is needed to bring from home to the day service. It could also illustrate the activity in detail step by step, to explain routines and give people confidence.
